Portland Police Officers responded to a disturbance call where witnesses stated seeing three individual force their way into an apartment. Officers arrived and took custody of two individuals at the scene while determining that a "home invasion robbery" had occured.
One individual fled the scene to a waiting vehicle and a short pursuit was initiated. This pursuit was terminated due to the poor weather conditions and the speeds involved. The suspect vehicle was involved in an accident in the area of S.E. Hawethorne Blvd. and S.E. 50th Avenue. Officers found the suspect vehicle and attempted to locate the suspects. Officers were initially unsuccessful in locating the suspects at the scene of the accident.
