Portland Police Investigate Bank Robbery

Today at 2:30 p.m., Portland Police Officers responded to the Bank of America located at 7410 N. Chicago on a call that the bank was being robbed. The suspect left the bank before officers arrived and took a vehicle that belonged to a customer in the bank. A short time later, the suspect crashed the car in the parking lot of a restaurant located at North Columbia and North Martin Luther King Boulevard. A Portland Police Sergeant was in the area and quickly located the car. A perimeter was established and a K-9 team from Clackamas County assisted in the search. The suspect was not located but the stolen car was recovered that had the victim's two dogs inside.
