Mr. Lewis has been located. Detectives would like to thank the public for all the tips they received. Detectives would also like to recognize those following the PPB on Twitter as it was a tip from a Twitter user which ultimately allowed Detectives to locate Mr. Lewis.

Portland Police Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating 80-year-old, Richard Lewis. Mr. Lewis has been missing since May 8th ,2010 at 2:30 P.M., and was reported missing today at 3:00 P.M.

Detectives have tracked Mr. Lewis' movements to the area of N Lombard Avenue and N New York Street as recently as 5:45 P.M. today. Mr. Lewis uses a walker and suffers from dementia but is capable of using Tri-Met, so it is unknown if he is still in this area.

Mr. Lewis is a male white about 5'5" tall and 110 pounds. He may appear shorter as he hunches when using his walker. Mr. Lewis is balding on top with salt and pepper hair and a salt and pepper beard, without the mustache. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, blue sweatshirt possibly with white stripes on the sleeves and dark pants.

Anyone with information on Mr. Lewis' whereabouts are asked to call 911. Anyone with additional information can contact Detective Mike Weinstein at 503-823-0446.
