Last night 47-year-old Derek R. Lukovich was booked on Robbery in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Attempted Kidnap in the Second Degree, a County Hold and Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held on 90,000 dollars bail at the Multnomah County Detention Center.

Additionally, 36-year-old Jeremiah Paul Rountree was also arrested in connection with the home invasion style Robbery. Roundtree was booked on Robbery in the First Degree, Burglary in the First Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree, Assault in the Second Degree and Attempted Kidnap in the Second Degree. Rounbtree is being held on 85,000 dollars bail at the Multnomah County Detention Center.

###Original Message###Today, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:31 p.m. Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to a report of an armed residential Robbery in the 3800 block of North Vancouver. Officers arrived to find a man and woman who had both been assaulted in the course of the Robbery. The suspects forced entry into the residence and demanded marijuana. There were two suspects who are described as wearing masks and armed with handguns. The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and have not been transported to a hospital.

Officers arrived in the area and began to search for the suspects. Officers have located and detained two individuals at this time. No additional details are available as this is an active and ongoing criminal investigation.
