On Sunday December 25, 2011 at 4:31 p.m. an ambulance was requested to a residence in the 2800 block of Southeast 90th place. When the ambulance arrived they found an adult man shot and called for police. The shooting victim was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded and began their investigation. The victim is a designated gang member and so the Gang Team has been called out to investigate. Officers on scene believe the shooting likely occurred a different location.

The Forensic Evidence Division is responding to process the crime scene and the investigation is continuing.
