Robbery detectives are continuing to investigate this morning's robbery and shooting in Northeast Portland. 34-year-old Timothy Cawley was walking on Northeast Alberta Street when two masked men approached him, one armed with a gun, and they demanded money. One of the suspects fired 2 shots at Cawley then both suspects fled the area. Cawley suffered a grazing wound to his forearm and was treated at the scene.

Early this morning, Sunday February 12, 2012, at 12:28 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct and the Gang Enforcement Team responded to the report of a shooting in the 5800 block of Northeast Alberta Street.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the intended victim, an adult male. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

No suspect information is available at this time and the Gang Enforcement Team is investigating.

Updates will be released when they become available.
