The man found dead on Southeast Clinton Street last night has been identified as 43-year-old Mark Calloway. The Oregon State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy this morning and cannot give a cause of death until toxicology results are returned in a few weeks but could say there were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play.

This evening, Friday April 13, 2012, at 11:10 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of a man passed out in front of a residence in the 9100 block of Southeast Clinton Street.

Officers arrived and determined that the man, who appears to be in his 40s, was deceased.

Criminalists from the Forensic Evidence Division and the Medical Examiner are enroute to continue the investigation. It is not known at this time what is the cause of death.

No updates on this investigation are expected before mid-morning Saturday April 14.
