Portland Police Investigating Non-Injury Shooting in Southeast Portland

Today, Tuesday April 17, 2012, at 10:53 a.m., Portland Police officers from East Precinct responded to the report of shots fired in the area of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Foster Road.

Officers arrived and spoke to witnesses at the Chevron gas station located on the Southeast corner of the intersection. Witnesses told police that someone got out of a white Chevy Monte Carlo parked to the South of Foster Road and fired multiple gunshots towards someone at the Chevron gas station on the Southeast corner of the intersection. The suspect then got back into the car and fled the area.

Nobody was hit at the gas station and officers were later able to locate the intended victim in an apartment complex further East on Foster Road.

The suspect is described as an African American male adult.

The Gang Enforcement Team is at the scene and will be investigating.
