UPDATE: Mr. Mscichowski has been safely located by the Hood River Co. Sheriff' Office, and is being provided medical treatment.

The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public's help in locating 52-year-old William Mschichowski ("Shi-chow-ski"), who was reported missing late last evening, April 20, 2012, from his Southeast Portland home, in the 1300 block of Southeast Ash Street.

William has not been seen or heard from since about 10:30am, Friday morning, and Missing Persons Unit detectives have advised there is concern that William may pose a risk to his own safety, and may be in need of urgent medical attention.

William is described as a white male, 52 years old, 6'1" tall, weighing 155 pounds. He has brown and gray hair (it is more gray than depicted in the attached photo), brown eyes, wears thick black glasses, and is likely wearing a brown bomber jacket.

William is believed to be driving an orange 1984 Datsun 270 King Cab pickup truck, with the rear window missing from the white canopy. The license plate is Oregon WGL 429.

Anyone who knows of William's or his vehicle's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective Mike Weinstein, at 503-823-0446.
