UPDATE: 17-year-old Colten Black has been located safe and is no longer missing.

Detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit are attempting to locate 17-year-old Colten Black, who absconded from his court-ordered Northeast Portland residential treatment program this morning. Black was last seen by staff members, as he walked away from the facility, in the 4300 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street, at about 11:00 a.m.

Black was reported missing and medically endangered to Portland Police, given that he left without medication that was described as being critical to his safety and welfare.

Black is described as a white male, 17 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has short, cropped, light-brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a light-gray image, dark-colored pants, and a black baseball cap with a red rim.

Anyone who knows of Black's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective Mike Weinstein, at 503-823-0446.
