UPDATE: Early this morning at 3:37 a.m. missing person Myra LaRocque was located by Central Precinct officers and transported to an area hospital where she is being treated at this time.

On Saturday, April 21, 2012, at approximately 10:00PM, 32-year-old Myra LaRocque was reported missing to Portland Police, after she failed to return to a friend's residence, in the area of Southeast 94th Avenue / Ash Street. LaRocque had last been seen when she left the residence, at about 6:00AM, earlier that morning. LaRocque was visiting Portland from Indiana, but she is supposed to be familiar with the area.

LaRocque reportedly suffers from a serious medical condition, which, if left untreated, could seriously jeopardize her welfare. Missing Persons Unit detectives have become involved in the investigation, and are concerned that LaRocque may pose a danger to her own safety.

LaRocque is described as a white female, 32 years old, 5'9", 240 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair, worn in a ponytail, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light-blue sweater, jeans and tennis shoes.

Anyone who knows of LaRocque's whereabouts is asked not to approach her, but to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective Mike Weinstein, at 503-823-0446.
