Portland Police Investigating a Shooting in Northeast Portland

This afternoon, Wednesday May 30, 2012, at 5:52 p.m., Portland Police responded to the report of a shooting at a residence in the 6500 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street. Officers responded and located a 17-year-old male suffering from a single gunshot wound. He has been transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Portland Police are currently checking the neighborhood for a suspect, described as a male Hispanic in his 30s.

The Gang Enforcement Team is responding to investigate.
