This morning, Wednesday June 6, 2012, at 8:16 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a vandalism at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 5730 Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers arrived and spoke with the manager who told police that she arrived this morning to find a window shattered and she didn't know if anyone was inside the building. Officers checked the inside of the building and did not locate any intruders but did locate a projectile that appeared to have been thrown through the window.
Based on their observations, officers called for Arson Investigators from Portland Fire & Rescue and the Portland Police Bureau to respond. There was no fire at the location nor was their damage from any fire.
Investigators will be reviewing available surveillance video for possible evidence. At this time, there is no suspect information.
