UPDATE: Portland Police Arrest Stabbing Suspect in Southeast Portland

Portland Police Domestic Violence investigators arrested 32-year-old Elizabeth Miller after she stabbed her boyfriend, 37-year-old Aaron Dugan. Miller was charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Assault in the Fourth Degree, and Harassment.

Miller was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.



This afternoon, Wednesday June 27, 2012, at 2:36 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of a stabbing victim at 526 Southeast Grand Avenue. Officers and medical personnel contacted the 37-year-old male victim who told officers that he was stabbed by his girlfriend. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Officers in the area saw the suspect enter a restaurant at Southeast 3rd Avenue and Morrison Street, Le Bistro Montage. Officers locked down the building and utilized a police K-9 Unit to search the building. The suspect was located hiding in a rear storage room and taken into custody without incident. A knife has also been recovered.

The suspect in custody is a 32-year-old female and investigators from the Domestic Violence Reduction Team (DVRU) will be investigating.
