Gang Enforcement Team detectives arrested 21-year-old Christopher Eugene Miller in connection with Saturday night's shooting in Northeast Portland's Cully neighborhood.
Miller was charged with Attempted Murder, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Attempt to Elude by Vehicle, Attempt to Elude on Foot, Reckless Endangerment, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Miller was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and will be arraigned on Monday.
Miller was the driver of the suspect vehicle. The other two men detained were released, pending further investigation.

This evening, Saturday July 14, 2012, at 9:06 p.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct and the Gang Enforcement Team responded to the report of a subject firing a gun at a house in the 4600 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street. A witness told 9-1-1 that the suspect got into a white sedan that left the area southbound on 47th Avenue.
Approximately two minutes later, a North Precinct patrol officer spotted a white sedan heading westbound on Northeast Prescott Street at 15th Avenue. The officer got behind the car, which sped away westbound on Prescott then turned northbound on 14th Avenue where it crashed into a parked car. The driver got out of the car and started to run away but was quickly apprehended by police. Two other men in the car started to get out and run but officers immediately detained them in the vehicle. Nobody was injured in the crash.
All three men have been detained at this point as the investigation continues. Nobody was hit during the shooting and the Gang Enforcement Team is in the early stages of an investigation.
