This morning, Thursday September 6, 2012, at approximately 5:00 a.m., the Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) served a search warrant at a residence in the 3300 block of North Hunt Street.
The investigation was jointly conducted by the Portland Police Bureau's Gun Task Force, and North Precinct's Neighborhood Response Team and Street Crimes Unit after several neighborhood complaints about drug activity all hours of the day, stolen cars being dumped and guns at the residence.
Six people were inside the residence at the time of the warrant with one of the six being arrested.
46-year-old Alex Schell was arrested and charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and three counts of Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon (throwing star).
No firearms were located in the search; however, a replica AR-15 rifle was seen inside the residence.
