Portland Police Investigating an Armed Robbery in the North Tabor Neighborhood

On Sunday October 14, 2012, at 2:02 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Plaid Pantry located at 6630 Northeast Glisan Street.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the victim who told police that the suspect entered the store displaying a handgun. The victim told police that the suspect took all the cash in the register and threatened to shoot the victim.

Officers checked the neighborhood for the suspect but did not find anyone matching the suspect's description.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, medium build, goatee, wearing black pants and a black hoody, armed with a handgun.
