In the early morning hours of Saturday November 3, 2012, Portland Police Bureau Burglary Task Force Detectives arrested 32-year-old Bronwynn Johanna Kauffman in connection with this burglary in Southwest Portland. Detectives believe she was the getaway driver connected with the robbery.

Burglary detectives are continuing to investigate this burglary and additional arrests are possible.

This morning, Friday November 2, 2012, at 11:55 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to the report of a homeowner who chased off a burglar from a residence in the 6400 block of Southwest Burlingame Place.

Officers have established a large neighborhood perimeter and will be using a Police K-9 Unit to search the neighborhood.

Both Wilson High School and Rieke Elementary School are in lockdown as a precaution.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 years old, 6'02", thin build, black hair, wearing a black bomber jacket, blue jeans, and carrying a backpack.

Updates will be released when they become available.
