UPDATE: Portland Police Seeking Public's Help Locating Medically Endangered 7-Month-Old Girl

Due to media exposure to this case, someone called into the DHS Hotline and gave information leading to the location of both mom and the 7-month-old. Police and medical personnel responded and the 7-year-old is now safe and receiving medical attention.

The Portland Police Bureau would like to thank the media and public for sharing this information.

The Child Abuse Team is asking for the public's help in locating a 7-month-old girl who may be suffering from a serious medical problem.

7-month-old Amirah Conteh is believed to be with her mother, 20-year-old Musu Conteh. Musu is described a 5'2" tall with a heavy build. Musu and the child may frequent the areas of North Albina Avenue and Killingsworth Street and Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Jessup Street.

A photo of Musu is being released to assist the public in identification.

Anyone seeing Musu or Amirah is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Anyone with non-emergency information is asked to call the Department of Human Services Hotline at (503) 731-3100.
