Update on Injured Portland Police Officer Paul Meyer

Officer Paul Meyer continues to recover at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center from injuries he suffered while participating in ATV training on Monday November 19, 2012.

Sadly, Officer Meyer is paralyzed from the waist down and doctors do not believe that he will regain the use of his legs. Officer Meyer will remain in the hospital as he continues to recover and visitors are not allowed at this time.

Officer Meyer and his family are very grateful for all the care and support extended to them from the law enforcement community and the citizens of Portland.

An account has been established at a local credit union to help Officer Meyer's family during this difficult time and during his recovery.
