The victim in last night's shooting has been identified as 23-year-old Justin Matthew Fennern, a resident where the shooting occurred. Fennern's injuries were not life-threatening.

There is still no suspect information regarding this shooting.

This evening, Sunday December 2, 2012, at 9:18 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to an apartment complex located at 620 Southeast 148th Avenue on the report of a shooting.

Officers arrived in the area but did not locate a shooting victim. A male adult victim arrived at a Portland hospital by private car. The victim was then transported by ambulance to a different hospital for treatment. The victim is being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers checked an apartment in the complex for additional victims and/or suspects but did not locate anyone inside.

At this point, there is no solid suspect information and investigators have not yet established what led up to the shooting.
