UPDATE: Portland Police Seek Public's Help Locating Missing 91-Year-Old Man

Mr. Kamida was safely located over night and returned home.



The Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in locating missing 91-year-old Robert Eiichi Kamida.

Mr. Kamida was last seen on Friday December 21, 2012, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Mr. Kamida generally drives to Jantzen Beach or the Lloyd Center to shop and he always returns home by 6:00 p.m. to his residence in Northeast Portland's Woodlawn neighborhood.

Mr. Kamida's vehicle is a 1984 Honda Accord, two-door, bearing Oregon license plate BUH026. The driver's side taillight is apparently burned out.

Mr. Kamida is described as an Asian male, 5'6" tall, 130 pounds, short grayish-brown hair, brown eyes, glasses, and walks with a limp to his right leg. He was last seen wearing a red jacket with a black collar, dark pants, and brown shoes.

Anyone seeing Mr. Kamida or his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
