Portland Police Investigate Armed Robbery Downtown - Three Suspects Arrested

On Friday February 8, 2013, at 11:18 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to Southwest 16th Avenue and Clay Street on the report of a pedestrian robbery.

As officers were enroute additional information was broadcast that the suspects were two African American males and one African American female and that one of them was armed with a box cutter.

Officers located three people at Southwest 16th Avenue and Jefferson Street that matched the description of the suspects and they were taken into custody. The victim positively identified all three people as being the suspects who robbed him minutes earlier.

The suspects were identified as 32-year-old Paul Ray Hargrow, 29-year-old Jeremiah Antaiwan Johnson, and a 26-year-old female.

The victim's property and the box cutter were located nearby and recovered by police.

Hargrow was charged with Robbery in the First Degree as well as a Parole Violation. Johnson was charged with Robbery in the First Degree. The 26-year-old female was released without charges at this time.

Hargrow and Johnson were booked into the Multnomah County Jail and will be arraigned on Monday.
