Portland Police Investigating a Non-Injury Shooting in Northeast Portland's Cully Neighborhood

This evening, Sunday February 10, 2013, at 9:15 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of multiple shots fired in the 6800 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street.

Officers arrived in the area and set up a neighborhood perimeter. A witness told police that the suspect ran eastbound on Killingsworth from the location of the shots, which was discovered to be in the parking lot of 6850 Northeast Killingsworth Street.

Several police officers, including a Police K-9 Unit, conducted a neighborhood search but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.

Officers checking the crime scene located two vehicles with bullet damage as well as an apartment where a bullet traveled through without striking the occupant.

The suspect is described as an African American male, 5'7" tall, wearing a gray hoodie, khaki pants and tan boots.
