Storey has been in custody since September 16, 2012 and Goudy has been in custody since November 16, 2012, both on unrelated charges.

This investigation began on July 19, 2012, at 6:46 p.m., when Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct and the Gang Enforcement Team responded to the report of a shooting in the 5800 block of Northeast 6th Avenue.

Officers arrived in the area located the victim, Bernard Yarborough, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and transported him to a Portland hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy the next day and determined that Mr. Yarborough died of a single gunshot wound.
