Crime Stoppers Featured Case #13-03 Hillsboro Pedestrian Robbery

The Hillsboro Police Department, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in solving a 2012 pedestrian robbery.

On December 24, 2012, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a man and woman were on a walk together in Dawson Creek Park off of Brookwood Parkway in Hillsboro when they were attacked by two Hispanic male adults. The male victim was knocked to the ground when he was struck in the head with a metal pipe-like object and kicked repeatedly when he was on the ground. He was then threatened with a knife and his wallet and cell phone were stolen. The female victim was knocked to the ground during the attack and had her purse stolen.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic males, 20 to 23 years old. One suspect, depicted in the attached drawing, is described as 5'06" to 5'07" tall, shaved or very short hair, "husky" build, clean shaven with dark eyes. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and bandana which fell off during the fight.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you can remain anonymous.
