Robert Greene Homicide Still Unsolved After One Year - Police Seeking Public's Help

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, is asking for your help in solving a homicide in Southeast Portland.

On Sunday February 19, 2012, at 1:28 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of a shooting outside the Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge, located in the 800 block of Southeast Morrison Street.

Officers arrived and located a shooting victim, 30-year-old Robert Greene. Medical personnel arrived and determined that Mr. Greene was deceased. An autopsy conducted later in the day determined that Mr. Greene died of single gunshot wound. Mr. Green was working security at Grand Central.

The only suspect information at this point is a black male. Investigators know that there were several witnesses outside at the time of the shooting but have not provided information to detectives.

The family of Robert Greene has raised $2,100 in a reward fund for information leading to the arrest of Robert Greene's killer.

In addition, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you can remain anonymous.
