Officers located the suspect behind a house in the 4000 block of Northeast 66th Avenue and took him into custody without incident. Officers located several items of clothing along the route that the suspect discarded as he fled from the police.
The suspect, 48-year-old Jay Curtis Voshall, was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and Theft in the Third Degree and booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
Police would like to thank area residents for their vigilance and assistance in locating the burglary suspect.
