Portland Police Robbery detectives have charged 31-year-old Eric Michael Eno in connection with two Portland robberies.

Eno was arrested on Wednesday evening by North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers at the Lloyd Center Stanfords restaurant after he robbed the Wigland wig store, located at Northeast 10th Avenue and Broadway.

The Wigland robbery occurred just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 1, 2013. During the robbery, Eno displayed a knife and tied up the employee in a back room. The victim was able to untie himself and strike Eno with a golf club before Eno ran out of the store and towards the Lloyd Center Mall.

North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers, who happened to be in the area, canvassed the area and looked at area surveillance video to help locate Eno at Stanfords.

Eno was interviewed by robbery detectives and was booked into the Multnomah County Jail this morning at approximately 4:30 a.m.

Eno is charged with two counts each of Kidnap in the First Degree and Robbery in the First Degree, in connection with the robberies at Wigland as well as the Little Things Jewelry Shop, located at 1720 Northwest Lovejoy Street.

Little Things was robbed on April 22, 2013, at approximately 7:45 p.m. In that robbery, the victim was tied up after being robbed at knifepoint.

Eno will be arraigned on Friday in Multnomah County court.
