UPDATE - FOUND SAFE: Portland Police Seek Public's Help in Locating a Missing and Possibly Endangered 42-Year-Old Man

42-year-old David Alton was safely located by family members and is no longer considered a missing person.

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in locating 42-year-old David John Alton of Northeast Portland.

David did not return home after work on June 28, 2013, and has not been in contact with family or friends. Detectives believe that David may have some medical issues that, if left untreated, could endanger his health.

David is described as a white male, 5'8" tall, 180 pounds, missing front teeth, and a scar across the back of his head. It is unknown what clothing David might be wearing.

David's vehicle has not been located and is a white 2001 Subaru Legacy four-door, Washington license plate 926TXW.

Anyone seeing David is asked to call 9-1-1. Anyone with non-emergency information is asked to call Detective Lori Fonken at (503) 823-1081 or Lori.Fonken@PortlandOregon.gov.
