Portland Police Investigating a Residential Robbery in Southeast Portland's Mill Park Neighborhood

This morning, Thursday August 1, 2013, at 11:05 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the Highlander Apartments, located in the 1200 block of Southeast 122nd Avenue, on the report of a residential robbery.

Officers arrived and spoke to the victims who told police that three armed men entered an apartment and stole cash after ransacking the residence. The victim told officers that the suspects entered through an unlocked sliding glass door at the rear of the apartment and ordered two adult women and two small children into the bathroom, then ordered two adult men to lie on the floor as they searched the apartment.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects left the apartment and were seen getting into a vehicle which left southbound on 122nd Avenue.

The three suspects that entered the apartment were all armed with handguns and were described as one African American male and two white males. A fourth suspect, unknown race or sex, remained behind the wheel of the suspect vehicle, which is described as a dark green four door.

Nobody was injured during the robbery and no gunshots were fired by the suspects.
