Portland Police located missing 62-year-old Gene Rush today and returned him to his residence.

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 62-year-old man from Downtown Portland.

Gene Calvin Rush was last seen at his residence in the 1300 block of Southwest Washington Street on August 2, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. Gene has several medical conditions that, if left untreated, could endanger his life.

In the past, Gene has frequented inner-Northeast Portland along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, from Fremont to Failing; and, the 47th Avenue and Prescott Street area.

Gene is described as an African American male, 5'8" tall, 176 pounds, with a mustache and "soul patch" below his lower lip. Gene uses a four-point walker and does not have the use of his right arm.
