UPDATE #2 - ARREST: Public's Help Sought in Locating a Missing Endangered 12-Year-Old Girl

12-year-old Ivy Marie Tran has been safely located and taken into protective custody. Her mother, 38-year-old Desha Marie Middleton was arrested and charged with Custodial Interference in the Second Degree.

Middleton was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and will be arraigned on Monday.

A photo of Ivy Tran and her mother is being released to assist the public in helping locate Ivy.

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in locating a missing endangered 12-year-old girl.

12-year-old Ivy Marie Tran was last seen on the afternoon of August 29, 2013, after running away from her foster home in Southeast Portland. Tran is a ward of the State and she may be hiding with family and/or friends.

Tran is described as an Asian female, 4'11" tall, 70 pounds, and brown hair with blonde highlights. Tran was last seen wearing a leopard-print tank top, multi-colored argyle leggings, and mid-calf leopard-print boots.
