Portland Police respond to a shots fired call

This morning at approximately 11:45, Portland Police Officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a suspicious call involving a weapon in the 500 block of Southeast 137th Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and determined that nobody was injured by the gunfire. It is reported that a single shot was fired. A suspect has been located in the area and detained. The Police Bureau's Gang Team is assisting in the investigation. Officers remain in the area processing the scene.
