Last night, October 31, 2013, at 9:59 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to Northeast 22nd Avenue and Thompson Street on the report of an armed robbery of some teens by a suspect armed with a knife.

Officers contacted the mother of one victim who told police that her daughter and two friends were out trick or treating when they were robbed at knife-point. All three victims are 14-years-old.

Officers spoke with two of the victims who told police that they were walking eastbound on Thompson Street when they were approached by the suspect, a white female, who struck up a conversation with the girls. As the victims began walking away, the suspect pulled out a pocket knife and demanded the victims give her their bags of candy.

The victims gave the suspect their bags then remembered that their phones were in the bags so they asked for their phones. Two victims were able to find their phones and got them back, another victim was unable to find her phone in the bag of candy. The suspect took the two bags of candy without phones and got into a waiting vehicle and left the area.

The suspect is described as a white female, 5'6" tall, 120 pounds, thin build, long brown hair, wearing black shorts, a black zip-up hoody jacket, armed with a knife.

The vehicle is described as a green 2005 Subaru 4-door.

Responding officers provided the victims with a large bag of "replacement candy."
