CORRECTION: Southwest Portland Burglary Investigation Leads to Arrest of 16-Year-Old Girl and Recovery of Property

This morning, Wednesday November 20, 2013, detectives from the Portland Police Bureau's Burglary Detail served a search warrant in connection with several Southwest Portland residential burglaries.

The warrant was served at a residence in the 11200 block of Southwest 45th Avenue and a 16-year-old female was arrested for five different residential burglaries

The five charges of Burglary in the First Degree are related to residential burglaries of homes all within 1000' of the suspect's residence.

Detectives have recovered a large amount of suspected stolen property from the suspect's residence.

The juvenile suspect will be lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Hall.

This investigation is continuing and no additional information can be released at this time.
