Suspect Arrested for September 2013 Stabbing at a King Neighborhood Nightclub (Photo)

Today, Portland Police Gang Enforcement Team detectives charged 38-year-old Daniel Devon Harden with Attempted Murder and Assault in the Second Degree in connection with a September 2013 stabbing.

Harden was arrested at his residence this morning after a search warrant served by the Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) as part of a coordinated investigative effort involving the Metro Gang Task Force.

The stabbing occurred on September 28, 2013 at the Conga Club, located at 4923 Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The victim, 42-year-old Anthony Bryant Gipson, suffered several stab wounds but survived his injuries.

Through an ongoing investigation, Harden was identified as the suspect in the stabbing.
Harden was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on these charges as well as an unrelated US Marshals hold. He will be arraigned on these charges on Thursday.
