Cully Neighborhood Tavern Robbed at Gunpoint Early Monday Morning

On Monday February 10, 2014, at 1:25 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Mad Hanna's Tavern, located at 6129 Northeast Fremont Street.

Officers arrived in the area and made contact with tavern employees. Witnesses told police that two suspects entered the bar, armed with handguns, and demanded money from employees. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the bar and walked away eastbound on Fremont Street.

The suspects are described as unknown race males in their 20s wearing dark clothing, including some kind of face covering. One suspect is described as 6'0" to 6'3" tall, 200 pounds, and the other is described as 5'6" to 5'9" tall, with a thin build. Both were reported to have handguns.

Several officers checked the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspects descriptions.
