Gang Enforcement Team Arrests Lloyd Center Stabbing Suspect in Vancouver

On Tuesday February 18, 2014, 19-year-old Louis Williams was arrested in Vancouver, Washington in connection with the February 12, 2014 stabbing of a 16-year-old male inside the Lloyd Center Mall. The victim was treated for injuries that ultimately were not life-threatening.

Using mall surveillance and witness information, Gang Enforcement Team detectives were able to identify Williams as the suspect in the stabbing.

Investigators located Williams in Vancouver late Tuesday evening. Officers from the Vancouver Police Department and Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff's Office arrested Williams at Northeast 59th Street and 106th Avenue.

Williams was booked into the Clark County Jail on arrest warrants for Attempted Murder, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

At a future date, Williams will be extradited to Multnomah County and will be booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
