###ORIGINAL MESSAGE###

Today, Wednesday March 12, 2014 at about 1:40 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to a call of two pedestrians struck by a vehicle. Officers arrived and discovered that the pedestrians had been hit by a vehicle which left the scene without exchanging information. The pedestrians, a 71-year-old female and a 76-year-old female, where transported to an area hospital as a trauma injury (it is not believed that the injuries are life-threatening).

Portland Police Hit and Run investigators would like to ask for the public's help in locating a silver or grey late 1990's Dodge Caravan believed to have been driven by a white female with a heavy build who has blond hair and is approximately 50 years of age. The vehicle may dents in the front end and a broken passenger side windshield. This person is believed to have driven the vehicle which struck the pedestrians.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Officer Chris Johnson at 503-823-2213.
