Shots Fired Overnight in Northeast Portland's King Neighborhood - No Reported Injuries

On Tuesday March 25, 2014, at 12:59 a.m., North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to the report of shots fired in the area of Northeast Killingsworth Street and Mallory Avenue.

Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire and damage to a residence in the 5500 block of Northeast Mallory Street.

Officers spoke to witnesses who told police that a suspect fired several shots then ran away southbound on Mallory Avenue.

No useful suspect description is available.

The Gang Enforcement Team took control of the scene and is conducting an investigation.
