Suspects Arrested After Burglary at Southwest Portland Home Listed For Sale (Photo)

18-year-old Dustin Shannon and 19-year-old Ryan Wilson were booked into the Multnomah County Jail on two counts each of Burglary in the First Degree. They will be arraigned on Monday.

This afternoon, Saturday March 29, 2014, at 1:07 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a burglary in progress at a home in the 1400 block of Southwest College Street.

The caller reported that the house was for sale and that she (homeowner) had arrived for a showing when she saw two men inside the home. The victim, who was outside the home, saw the two men go out of the house and walk down the street.

Arriving officers located the two suspects and took them into custody, recovering stolen property from them.

Burglary detectives are continuing the investigation and there is no risk to the public.
