Drive-By Shooting Investigation in Northeast Portland's Piedmont Neighborhood - No Reported Injuries

This evening, Monday April 7, 2014, at 7:31 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to multiple reports of a drive-by shooting in the 200 block of Northeast Lombard Street.

Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire and learned that a residence on the South side of the street was hit by gunfire. There were no gunshot victims located at the scene but officers are speaking with several witnesses who were outside when the shots were fired.

At this point in the investigation there is no additional information to share and the Gang Enforcement Team is responding to conduct an investigation.

Northeast Lombard Street is closed both directions to all traffic, from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Mallory Avenue as the investigation develops.

No additional updates are expected this evening.
