Downtown Ice Cream Shop Robbed at Needlepoint - Suspect Not Located

This evening, Tuesday April 22, 2014, at 8:51 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to Baskin Robbins, located at 625 Southwest Broadway, on the report of a robbery where the suspect used a syringe to threaten employees.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted employees who told police that the suspect entered the ice cream shop and displayed a syringe while telling employees that the needle was "full of AIDS."

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the store and was last seen walking northbound on Broadway.

Several officers checked the area but did not locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, 5'9" tall, skinny build, short brown hair, glasses, wearing all bright colors.
