Gang Enforcement Team Investigating a Shooting in Southeast Portland - No Known Victims

This evening, Saturday May 24, 2014, at 7:10 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of gunshots heard in the 12700 block of Southeast Stark Street.

Officers arrived and spoke to witnesses who described hearing multiple shots and two vehicles leaving the area. Officers located evidence of gunfire and based on preliminary investigation believe that occupants of two vehicle were shooting at each other.

No victims have been identified or have arrived at area hospitals.

The Gang Enforcement Team is responding and will conduct an investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team and Gun Task Force are continuing to actively investigate gang and gun crimes in the City of Portland.
