Gang Enforcement Team Investigating Overnight Shooting in East Portland's Glenfair Neighborhood - No Known Injuries

This morning, Saturday June 7, 2014, at 3:36 a.m., an East Precinct Sergeant in the area of Southeast 148th Avenue and Stark Street heard multiple gunshots nearby. Moments later, someone called 9-1-1 to report a shooting in the 100 block of Southeast 151st Avenue.

Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire in the street and discovered two exterior walls of an apartment complex were struck by gunfire, along with a parked car and a bank of mailboxes.

No gunshot victims were located at the scene and none arrived at Portland area hospitals.

The Gang Enforcement Team responded to conduct an investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team and Gun Task Force are continuing to actively investigate gang and gun crimes in the City of Portland.
