15-Year-Old Male Injured in Stabbing in East Portland's Hazelwood Neighborhood

On Sunday June 15, 2014, at 1:14 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to the 100 block of Southeast 146th Avenue on the report of a stabbing.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the 15-year-old male victim who was suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound. He was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment.

Officers learned that the victim and his two friends were in a verbal altercation with the suspect, who pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 6'3" tall, 185 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Several officers checked the area for the suspect but did not locate anyone matching his description.
