Pedestrian Assaulted and Robbed at Gunpoint in Northeast Portland's Argay Neighborhood

On Sunday June 15, 2014, at 2:43 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the area of Northeast 125th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard on the report of a pedestrian robbery.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the victim who told police that he was approached by three African American males at Northeast 125th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard and that one of them punched him and the other pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The victim told police that the suspects took his money and ran away southbound on 125th Avenue. The victim did not require any medical attention at the scene.

Several officers checked the area for the suspects but did not locate anyone matching their description.

All three suspects were described as African American males with blue or black bandanas covering their faces.
