Gang Enforcement Team Investigating a Shooting in Northeast Portland's Concordia Neighborhood - No Known Victims

This afternoon, Sunday June 22, 2014, at 3:34 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the area of Northeast 24th Avenue and Sumner Street after multiple 9-1-1 calls about shots fired in the area.

Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of gunfire but no gunshot victims. A witness described the suspect as an African American male in his 20s, thin build, wearing all black clothing.

North Precinct officers observed several known and suspected gang associates in the area after the shooting.

The Gang Enforcement Team is responding to conduct an investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team and Gun Task Force are continuing to actively investigate gang and gun crimes in the City of Portland.
