54-year-old Roberto De Los Reyes Ferrater was identified as the man killed on Thursday. Detectives were able to locate and notify family of his death.

The case remains under investigation.



The 65-year-old man critically injured in yesterday's stabbing has been identified as David Karl Kidder. He remains in a Portland hospital recovering from his injuries. He is expected to survive.

The deceased's identity is not being released at this time as investigators are still trying to locate family.

Both victims and the suspect lived at the home where the stabbing occurred.

This case remains under investigation.

Early this morning, Friday August 1, 2014, 47-year-old Wayne Dinayog Nabehet was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Murder and Assault in the First Degree.

These charges come as the result of an investigation into Thursday afternoon's stabbing and homicide investigation in the 4700 block of Northeast 96th Avenue.

A 65-year-old man was critically injured by Nabehet and remains in a Portland hospital.

After Nabehet surrendered to police, officers searching the home for additional victims located a body, preliminary identified as a 55-year-old male. Medical personnel confirmed the victim was deceased.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy on the deceased today to determine the cause of death and to confirm the victim's identity.

Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation and are not prepared to release any additional information at this time.

Names of the surviving and deceased victims are anticipated to be released later today.

Nabehet will be arraigned today in Multnomah County Court.
